Dim lights, groovy jazz and the reminiscent sense of the 50s. This is how yesterday, April 26, students and professors celebrated all the good reasons for being a JMC major. JMC Rocks Club organized its 9th  cocktail party ,which was held at Piano Bar Limited. For the first time, the event was hosted by JMC students who are not members of the club. This year’s presenters were Rafie Drencheva and Georgi Ivanov, who are part of radio AURA. Glasses of red and white wine and effervescent conversations warmed up the atmosphere before the actual show began. One of the most entertaining parts of the event was the theme for the club's video, all related to JMC. Despite some technical problems with the screening, the event went smoothly. At the end of the show the guests received the annual newspaper of JMC Rocks. The great surprise of the evening, however, came for professor Melody Gilbert, when she was unexpectedly called on the stage. Gilbert was honored by the club for her dedication to the JMC Department and her endeavors during her first year at AUBG. “Keep loving documentaries,” said the professor - almost speechless and touched - while picking the flowers she was given. ”I had an amazing time! The party was lovely. You guys are very thoughtful and I appreciate so much the flowers and the acknowledgment. It was a joy to teach all the JMC students this year. You guys rock,” said Gilbert after the party. http://www.facebook.com/JMCRocks
