Where's my windbreaker? It's feeling like New Mexico

Now that it is Spring Break, the sun is out and I can finally start wearing those flip-flops that have been collecting dust under my bed this winter. Someone up there was listening to me when I asked for sun, but now mother nature has decided to throw in some wind that has automatically reminded me of New Mexico.  I actually dislike Spring- a lot.  All due to the windy season New Mexico inevitably has every year.  As a golfer in high school I had to endure those painful practices during the season as I would hit my ball and watch as it would appear to hit a wall and instantly drop down.  Very frustrating to say the least. But now is not the time to dwell on something like this.  I'm here aren't I? This is what I signed up for! I mean it could be worse...there could still be several feet of snow on the ground.  Maybe I just don't want to be reminded of New Mexico.  Not yet at least.  It's really not a horrible place.  The autumn season is pleasant, I love the culture and for someone who loves spicey food, a state known for its green chili is the place for me.  It's just that the point of this journey was to completely escape the life I had.  Other than talking with loved ones and preparing for school back at home, I want to focus on what I have here and appreciate everything around me.  After 6 months, I continue to do so. For now though, I'm going to focus on the little time I have left Granada, Spain and Dublin, Ireland :) *Speaking of golf, here is a link of a picture of  on of my favorite golf courses in New Mexico, Sanda Golf Course.
