Welcome to Jeopardy!
International week gathered professors and students to play a game of Jeopardy! on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Three teams were answering questions of different categories such as “Literature,” “Sports,” “Famous Names,” “Drinks,” “Geography” and others. The teams were “The Fnatic” – Khash-Erdene Ganbat (Jade), Gennady Solovey, Kristi Buda and prof. Jeffrey Nilsen; “The All Stars” – Kristiyan Dimitrov, Stoil Stoilov, Vlad Muntean and prof. Melody Gilbert; “The Globe” – Liliya Gaisina, Elena Akhmetova, Borys Khodan and prof. John Mullen.
After three rounds, “The Globe” overpowered their opponents. “We own our success to our professor. He did an outstanding job,” Liliya Gaisina said. “As a team we were very friendly and united.” According to her, such events should be organized more often, not only as part of International Week, because they provide students with an opportunity to have fun, practice their knowledge, and “google some interesting facts.”
