Here comes another group of seniors sharing their thoughts on the finish line at AUBG.   [caption id="attachment_31946" align="aligncenter" width="380"]13090139_1119415964748228_818835975_n Lyuba Popopa Photo: Personal Archive[/caption] Lyuba Popova is from Bulgaria, majoring in journalism and political science. During her years at AUBG, Popova has been an active member of the university life. She has been part of the AUBG Broadway Club for a year, followed by two years in the AUBG Choir. Recently, she joined BFDC "Samodiva". During her four years at AUBG she has been a member of StartUP @Blagoevgrad, where she went through different  positions from Vice President to Head of the Marketing Department. Something she is proud of is her Capstone project - Dreamcatcher Designs. Tell us about your best and your worst memory at AUBG. My best memories here are connected with all the great people whom I met at AUBG, the vibrant life I had on campus, and the clubs that I participated in. I bet, one day I will share those stories with my kids laughing out loud. As for the worst memory, it was a problem that my roommate and I faced during our freshmen year. We had to move out and change our room because of insect invasion. What were you before? What are you now? Before, I was a weird teenager with far less experience, knowledge and clear vision of life. Not that I have a  much clearer vision now, but I definitely developed further my individuality, positive attitude and tolerance. If you were 18 years old, what would you change? I’d get my job done and party hard. This is what I’ve always tried to do since my high school years. If I was 18 years old now, I wouldn’t change anything. I would only believe more in myself. What word defines you best? If I can use two words they would be: creative mess. What is the meaning of life? There is never a clear answer to this question. In my current view, however, the meaning of life is to stay positive, make good deeds and express gratitude for every moment. Miracles do exist. You are awesome because… I am truly myself. I am grateful for everything and to everyone that I have in my life. How do you imagine life after AUBG? Fun! I have no idea what will happen, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be awesome! : )   [caption id="attachment_31961" align="aligncenter" width="774"]13072197_483240345197395_545004280_o Teodor Savov Photo: Personal Archive[/caption] Meet Teodor Savov, from Bulgaria, majoring in Computer Science and Informational Systems. Savov has been part of Radio Aura and in his last year he became the General Manager. Apart from that, he joined the newly formed "AUBG Spaces" team as well as "Centroida," the firm formed by the same club. Savov was also the organizer of the most recent Alumni Challenge. Tell us your best and worst memory at AUBG. I don’t exactly have a “worst memory” at AUBG. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen? When I remember times when I’ve felt distressed or generally bad, I only feel nostalgic because it’s all gone now. As far as best memories go, those would be the all the carefree moments spent with friends (or Marina). What were you before? What are you now? I was narrow-minded and lazy. Now I’m open-minded and lazy. Also slightly better at coding. If you were 18 years old, what would you do/change? Pff, I want to say “Play less video games” but man, I don’t think I would’ve done it even if I had encountered my future self who travelled back in time just to tell me “PLAY LESS VIDEO GAMES DUDE!” So yeah, I don’t think I would change a thing. What word defines you best? 1337. What is the meaning of life? Feeling good. You are amazing, because... How do you know I’m amazing? How do you imagine life after AUBG? Less papers, less exams, and sadly, less alcohol.   [caption id="attachment_31947" align="aligncenter" width="1107"]йdal Aleksandra Kirilakha Photo: Office of Communications and Marketing at AUBG[/caption] Meet Aleksandra Kirilakha from Voronezh, Russia. She majors in Economics and has been a subject tutor in Economics and Mathematics for almost three years now. Kirilakha was recently accepted to a PhD program  in economics at the Drexel University in the US. Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG. I have several best things connected to AUBG – 10s in strategic management (I managed to get a couple of those), Fridays and even Saturdays, my Erasmus exchange, 2 a.m.-banichka-raids, and the people who helped me survive through the horrors of not getting enough sleep. As for the negative part, I never focus on that. What were you before? What are you now? Before – a girl with the hidden dream of becoming a chemist. Now - a girl with the hidden dream of becoming a chemist. If you were 18 years old, what would you do? I would appreciate every single moment and not worry that much about grades. What word defines you best? #inprocrastinationitrust. What is the meaning of life? Living it the way you want to live it. Be happy and proud of what you turn your life into. You are awesome because…? Not awesome, simply spectacular. How do you imagine life after AUBG? Hopefully, happily employed.
