Rock Stuck in Photographs
On Wednesday, March 25, Blagoevgrad was trembling with the vibes produced by six talented, tempestuous bands. In the eminent Piano Bar “Limited,” AUBG-ers and locals were privileged to listen to Mob Rules with a staggering version of Metallica’s Orion; The Groove who took us to California with Phantom Planet’s song; Blondie and the Blacks, who were Killing in the Name of Fun by a Rage Against The Machine song. We also heard Out of Tune, who agitated you to Plug in Baby with a song by Muse; Los Cheburashka who inspired by Audioslave performed their Like a Stone Sunrise; and The Sorority, who surprised us with B.B. King and When Love Comes to Town.
“I am primarily impressed by the ease with which the groups are performing,” Ksenia Malikovа, a third-year student, shared during the concert. Another spectator, Alex Otman, also a third-year student, said that he highly estimated the variety of the repertoire which was satisfactory for the entire audience. Indeed, this was a night to remember for the Blagoevgrad music scene.
