RJC Presents the Rock Jammification
Rock Jamming Club (RJC) rocked the Piano Bar once again on Wednesday, November 14. The Rock Jammification started at 11 pm and welcomed AUBGers with live rock music and special promotions for alcohol.
The audience was entertained by five bands: The Drunk Piano Band, Unnamed, Blondie and the Blacks, RA and the Misfits and Skapto Rangers. All of the musicians are members of RJC. There are around 60 members in the club in total.
“Probably, this was one of the most crowded performances so far. Hopefully everyone enjoyed [it],” said Irakli Dautashvili, sophomore from Georgia and a member of Blondie and the Blacks.
“I really enjoyed the AUBG bands playing. To be honest, I knew it was going to be good, but I did not expect it to be this amazing,” said sophomore Irma Geldiashvili. “The beat was great and all the performers were awesome.”
Junior Rostislav Nedelchev was also pleased by the concert. “The concert was a blast! It kept me up even though I almost did not sleep the night before,” he said.
During the concert the audience could also contribute in the “Help Bistra” charity campaign, organized by the Student Government, RJC and Better Community Club. The campaign is aiming is to raise funds in support of AUBG alumna Bistra NIkolova’s fight against cancer.
