Do you experience it, too? The excruciating feeling of immediate stress that attacks you upon arrival after the most wonderful spring break imagined?  Yep, that's it. This was the week where the last of the mid-terms were administered and new projects and tests assigned; not the kind of thing you want to come back to school with. This feeling happens every year, especially since you know summer is so close!  And worst of all, everyone from U.S. universities are just starting their break.  My newsfeed is full of exclamations of joy that mid-terms are over.  Who cares?! Okay, maybe I'm just a little bitter. So how does one surcomb this plague that leaves you stressed and a little homesick? 1. Eat banitsa. Something your New Mexican classmates can't have! 2. Enjoy Spring's arrival by embracing the warmth and the perfectly contrasting light breeze.  This weekend will be beautiful and it is only supposed to get better.  By the way, Happy St. Patrick's Day :) 3. Chat with exchange students you met last semester, who went home. Many of them would do anything to be back here again. I would, too.  So I'll enoy the limited time I have out here for them. 4.Keep a journal.  Sometimes it's best to write down how I feel to ultimately forget about them.  They're in the past, time to move on. 5.Prepare for summer! Unfortunately, my summer wll be limited to school, work and possibly more work.  Not the most ideal summer break but planning on working again cheers me up! When I work I feel independent making my own money and knowing I can provide for myself.  Plus, the bank account is looking a little dry :/ Right now, it's all about managing my school work and social life for the next month and a half that I know will just fly by.
