The newly-announced head of Dining Services at AUBG Mark Waterhouse is now looking for translators, while he tries to upgrade and even transform the facility as we know it. In a an interview with us he specifically pointed out that most of his radical ideas are not yet implemented and will wait until the opening of the Student Centre. However, in order to make the transition as smooth as possible, he would need to further expand the knowledge and style of cooking of his new co-workers at the canteen. He shared that not a single student has yet responded to the advert on the work-study position as a pizza-delivery person. A couple of new positions are available though and he is looking for student support. The help most needed at the moment is a translation job [Bulgarian- English and vice versa] at the main canteen, which will take place every day for a maximum of 2 hours at Main Building's canteen. Waterhouse also plans on organizing a Cooking club on campus. He further explained that due to Bulgarian health regulations, students will not be able to participate in the cooking process itself. They will however gain expert knowledge of food, which they can employ in their own time.
