Not long after the Commencement of Class 2012 some recent graduates have already joined the workforce and started their quest to professional excellence. We randomly contacted four already employed AUBG alumni of this year's class to find out what their first impressions of their new jobs are. [caption id="attachment_4672" align="alignleft" width="252" caption="Anna Ceachirova during her personal presentation at Mindvalley."][/caption] Anna Ceachirova majored in BUS and JMC, and is now in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working on a one year contract with Mindvalley - a company that connects authors with the internet generation. She found this job through the AIESEC network and it can be considered as an AIESEC internship. "However, it is not necessary to apply through AIESEC, I just got to know about the company through the organization. One of the cool things about Mindvalley is that they require a video cover letter. I have submitted my video cover letter and my CV and went through three interviews," she said. Anna is working as a Community Project Manager in the Customer Support Team. She will be responsible for taking care of customers and "turning them into raving fans", as one of the values on Mindvalley's "Code of Awesomeness" says. In her spare time Anna is trying to explore Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia "since there is so much to learn: new food, people, culture and everything else!" Stanislav Bratushkov, a BUS and ECO graduate, is currently living in Sofia and working for Pentagon Interactive - a multichannel management business that primarily deals with the management of eBay and web stores. The company is established in Britain, but now has offices in Plovdiv and Sofia and employs a lot of young people. "I found [the job] through the annual AUBG Job Fair and it was pretty easy actually - the CEO and an alumni from AUBG, Dilyana Gramadarova, were there to talk with any potential candidates," Stanlislav said. "They were very friendly and I soon received an email that I was accepted to start working for Pentagon. That happened before graduation. I had a couple of weeks training and now I am working full time." Stanislav's current position is Account Manager. He contacts sellers and manages their web stores and sales. During the heat wave Stanislav is spending his spare time drinking beer and playing computer games and some poker.de, "pwning some noobs until it gets cool enough outside to go out," as he puts it. However, she also managed to start her professional career before leaving for the summer program. Valeriya is a Business Development Assistant at IntelliCo Solutions- a consultancy firm specialized in translating business strategy into IT solutions for top-tier companies in primarily the transportation and logistics industry. She also found her position through the Job Fair at AUBG. "I sent my CV to the Career Center prior to the Job Fair. I then received 3 calls from companies attending the fair and we met at the event. After the meeting with IntelliCo's rep, they followed up inviting me for a second interview and assessment tests," Valeriya said. One of the last things she did at work before leaving for the States was to fly to Brussels where she had to establish connections with prospective customers. After two months of interviews, assessment and IQ tests, she is now a Management Trainee to the Executive Vice-President for Central and Eastern Europe at Modern Times Group - the company that owns Nova TV, Kino Nova, Diema, Diema Familly, Nova Sport, Radio Nova, Eva magazine and other media. "Six months I will be based in Bulgaria and six months I will spend in one of the other 34 countries where MTG operates. That could be Russia, UK, Latvia or even Ghana, Africa." After this one year of training, Antonia will be looking at a more specific position within the company. Although at first she was not able to find any spare time for the things she loves, she gradually fixed her schedule and managed to fit back the mountain hikes, horse riding and MMA practices that she did during her time in AUBG. She is also one of the founding members of Balance Correct Ltd. - a start-up company providing accounting and consulting services, "based on a business plan that revolves around innovation, customer service and thinking out-of-the-box." "Honestly, I am very happy with how things turned out in the end. For someone that has just started and is fresh-out-of college, I do love my job," Antonia said about her experience in MTG. "In the end, it is all about attitude. With the right attitude, you are a walking endless source of energy and strong will. All the rest are just details."
