JMC Takes a New Turn in Fall 2013

Melody Gilbert will be the new chair of the Journalism and Mass Communications department at AUBG starting form July 2013. The news came out on April 18 at the JMC Rocks 10th anniversary cocktail party, when the current department chair Professor Dinka Spirovska expressed her satisfaction with the work done up until now and her gratitude to everyone in JMC. Health Center Moves to Skapto 1

The decision to move AUBG’s Health Center from Main Building to Skapto 1 Computer Lab has already been made and is awaiting approval from the Board of Trustees (BoT). If BoT officially approves the decision in May, the reconstruction will start in summer and the center will be ready to operate from Fall 2013. Continue reading…

Changes in the Curriculum

Undergraduate Course Catalog is likely to have some changes by the beginning of the Fall 2013 semester. Two American Studies courses will have ENG 102 – Persuasion added to their prerequisites, as was approved by the Curriculum Committee. Skappy’s Becomes a Mini Market

The room in Skaptopara 2 where Skappy’s currently is situated will become a mini market in Spring 2013. The decision was taken on Feb. 2013 and will be implemented one month after the opening of the America for Bulgaria Student Center on March 11, 2013.
