Business Week 2017 – Fuel Up Your Ideamobile
Once again AUBG students can ‘fuel their ideamobile’ with Business Week 2017 Vol.1 starting on Monday, Mar. 27. The AUBG Business Club has prepared five events in five days throughout the week which include guest lectures and workshops.
First on the agenda is Petar Dyaksov, Managing Director at Tendrik, who will engage AUBG students with an “Entrepreneurship Discussion: Launching Your Business” in Aspire Center at 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 27. Dyaksov is an experienced specialist in e-commerce and online marketing.
On Tuesday, Mar. 28, a discussion on the need for educated professionals in the Bulgarian business world and the difference between their expectations and the reality, will be led by Tim Kurth, Executive Director and vice president at Aurubis Bulgaria. Kurth will also share some of Aurubis’ practical insights on what leadership is like in today’s business sphere at 7:30 p.m. in Aspire Center.
This year the AUBG Business Club has also included CV and interview workshops with HR companies taking place on Mar. 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 17:45 p.m. The workshops, led by Horizons BG and Rabota.bg, will provide one-on-one sessions with professionals to discuss students’ CVs and a mock job interview. AUBG students will get career advice, CV improvement tips, career assistance, as well as the possibility to get vacant work or internship positions. For the workshops, which will happen in ABF, room 6306, and Aspire Center, students need to sign up as the number of participants is limited.
The fourth day of the Business Week 2017 Vol.1 will proceed with a discussion on “Digital Economy: Marketing Evolution” with Aleksandar Nestorov, Marketing Manager at SAP Bulgaria and AUBG alumnus, in Aspire Center at 7:30 p.m. Nestorov will talk about how to deliver great customer experience, why there is a branding problem in the marketing field nowadays, what is Digital Marketing and Return on Interest (ROI). He will also give an overview about five rising content trends in 2017.
Georgi Kadrev, CEO at Imagga, will help AUBG students at developing their business ideas, on Friday, Mar. 31, at the closing event of the Business Week 2017 Vol.1. “Brainstorming the Future: Idea generation” will happen in Aspire Center at 7:30 p.m.
