Smiles everywhere

World Smile Day is celebrated on the first Friday of October. The tradition was initiated in 1999 by Harvey Ball who created the Smiley Face. According to his foundation, on this day people all around the world “need to be thoughtful of others and use the power of a smile and a kind act to make a small difference in the world in which we live.”
At AUBG, the Better Community Club is maintaining this tradition and every year they surprise the students with cookies, pictures and huge smiley faces drawn in front of each Skapto.

“It seems highly unfair to me that students are not allowed a choice. What if they have personal dietary restrictions or maybe they just don’t like the food there. Seems ridiculous.
