  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
Life at AUBG is like an adventurous journey, filled with many ups and downs that challenge your curiosity, maturity and perseverance every day. Now, when I am about to reach the final destination of my travel, I feel nostalgic but enriched with memories and experience. I will always remember with a smile the awesome time I spent together with my friends, the taste of hot Banichka that I bought from Bakalov on my way back from a night club, all the events organized on campus in which I took part in, the awesome time that I had while participating in different clubs. The difficulties that tasted my personality during these 4 years were also numerous. The struggles that I had during the Numan Ulku’s classes, the pressing deadlines and exams that made me long for a day,  lasting for more than 24 hours, the passionate discussions that I had with my teammates while working on a group project. All these moments helped me grow as a person.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
I was a freshman with big dreams who was a bit shy but truly excited to delve into the adventure called AUBG. After 4 years here, I have become much more confident and mature, though I have preserved my determination and passion to explore new things and meet new people.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
I would have paid much more attention to the simple things in life.
  • What word defines you best?
Chocolate. I am really into chocolate. And as a true chocolate lover I always make sure to have some with me.
  • What is the meaning of life?
Being in harmony with yourself.
  • You are awesome because…?
I am awesome because I am Elena.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
As another exciting adventure. I hope that it will be as pleasant and dynamic as the one that I have had at AUBG so far.
  • What is Daily for you?
AUBG Daily is very close to my heart since it is the first club at AUBG that I have joined.
  • Your last words to Daily.
Keep being such a thought-provoking medium and preserve the awesome team spirit.   [caption id="attachment_32209" align="aligncenter" width="668"]Teodora Velichkova. She has been a member of BFDC Samodiva, a Business Department Student Representative, and a sales executive of AUBG Daily.
  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
It is really hard to just pick certain moments as best and worst. I guess I am always fond of the times I spend with my friends – I would say those are the best. As for worst, they somehow always come around midterms/finals times. Procrastination always takes its toll, I suppose.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
Before I was just somebody who wanted to fit in, meet people and have a good time. Now I grew up a little but I guess that does not make me so much different than how I was then.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
I would be glad I would not have to take SAT again.
  • What word defines you best?
Lazy? Just kidding. Composed would be the most appropriate one, I think.
  • What is the meaning of life?
Being happy with yourself and your life.
  • You are awesome because…?
No reason, I simply am.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
Different, new and exciting. I really hope to be able to live a full life that wouldn’t be defined by just my job but by everything I do.
  • What is Daily for you?
Daily for me was at first a way to help out a friend. However, after joining I found out that it is a place full of great people.
  • Your last words to Daily.

  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
I hate those questions because they make you rank incomparable things. My best memories have always been about interesting people and the way they make you change and grow. My worst experiences have been about people who have tried to make me to do some work I’ve been too lazy to do before that.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
Before I was great. Now I’m a liar.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
I’ve already been 18. What I did is to become 19.
  • What word defines you best?
Modest.
  • What is the meaning of life?
F*ck! It has a meaning?
  • You are awesome because…?
I’m awesome for no particular reason. I just want to give it to the world.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
It is when I can actually start studying. For the last 16 years, the school subjects and the university courses were interrupting me all the time.
  • What is Daily for you?
A bunch of people that I meet once or twice per semester, a good source of on-campus news, a way to help a project in need…
  • Your last words to Daily.
Computers don’t bite, don’t look at them all that suspiciously!   [caption id="attachment_32212" align="aligncenter" width="730"]Giorgi Rostomashvili. Credits: More Honors Giorgi Rostomashvili. Credits: More Honors[/caption] Meet Giorgi Rostomashvili from Georgia. He has been a member of the Rock Jamming Club since his first year and of DeFacto for three years.
  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
I had so many great memories in this university that it’s hard to pick one, but probably preparing for and playing the concerts for Rock Jamming Club was the most fun I had here. The worst one is easy to pick. As a freshman, I had to do a speech for my persuasion class. I felt prepared but as soon as I started talking, my brain stopped working. I could not remember words, or form sentences, I even forgot what my topic was, but the professor insisted that I continue and talk for at least five minutes. I mumbled my way through and only managed to say 10 sentences in total, it was mostly awkward pauses which I will never forget.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
From time to time Facebook reminds me who I was with their Memories and it’s not pretty. I was without particular goal in life and was only concerned about having fun. As for now, I have a clear idea of who I want to be and how to achieve my goals.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
Probably I would try to study better, and try to go on an exchange program.
  • What word defines you best?
Friend.
  • What is the meaning of life?
Pizza.
  • You are awesome because…?
I had a pleasure to hang out with interesting people.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.
  • What is Daily for you?
I joined Daily after the merger with DeFacto, for me it was a new beginning even though it happened in my last semester. It was fun and exciting to create together a new printed media on campus.
