  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
While in this environment, I learned how to let go of a very irritant human habit, and that is comparing; so there is no best or worst. I am grateful for any souvenir left. Or lost.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
I was on a journey, having steadily grasped the wheel. Now, I am on a couple of journeys, mostly on autopilot.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
Learn that impossible Russian language.
  • What word defines you best?
Words.
  • What is the meaning of life?
Movement, discomfort, curiosity, insecurity, and attachment.
  • You are awesome because…?
Prior to vernacular use, awesome meant “very impressive and a little frightening,” alarming even. In my case, transferring my riskiness to others is what makes me awesome. And my expressiveness, and the way I dance. *my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard* Not Skapto 1 yard, tho.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
Populated. And free. And as we know from Janis Joplin, “freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose”. *PLEASE HIRE ME.*
  • What is Daily for you?
A pedestal. And a reality check.
  • Your last words to Daily.
In a world of pseudo-freedom of speech, please be that penniless judge whom they kidnapped because he ruled in favor of the truth.   [caption id="attachment_32197" align="aligncenter" width="960"]Tsvetelina Miteva. Personal archive Tsvetelina Miteva. Personal archive[/caption] Meet Tsvetelina Miteva from Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. She majors in journalism and mass communication as well as in political science. Miteva is a reporter for AUBG Daily. Her interests include writing, jogging, teaching English, and learning languages.
  • Tell us your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
The first two years and a half were the worst because I hated AUBG. Then something changed. I moved on campus and the last year and a half turned into the best in my life.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
I was shy and I hated communicating with people. I remember how much I distasted the Orientation Week because we were supposed to meet new people and talk, and share. Now I am out-going, a little crazy maybe and communicating became a hobby for me.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
I would spend a year travelling around the world and learning new languages, Chinese or Spanish.
  • What word defines you best?
Dictator.
  • What is the meaning of life?
To be of use and to use; to be helped and to help; to be loved and to love.
  • You are awesome because…?
I am 153cm tall but always compete as a 190cm/100kg man.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
It will definitely be different. In what way, I can’t tell. One thing is sure, whatever happened at AUBG will never happen again and this makes me sad but, as my friend Banov likes to say, “It is what it is.”
  • What is Daily for you?
AUBG Daily has been like a JMC Training school for me. I learned more by writing stories for Daily than at the JMC classes I have taken.
  • Your last words to Daily.
Thank you for teaching me how to be a good writer and how to handle deadlines. [caption id="attachment_32195" align="alignright" width="960"]Gergana Ivanova. Personal Archive Gergana Ivanova. Personal Archive[/caption] Meet Gergana Ivanova from Bulgaria. She majors in business administration as well as in journalism and mass communication. She served as the President of StartUP@Blagoevgrad during her last year at AUBG and devoted four years to the club. Ivanova was also a part of Radio Aura for four years and a reporter for AUBG Daily for a year and a half.
  • Tell us about your best and your worst memory at AUBG.
It is extremely difficult to pick a best one. But I am sure it is hidden somewhere between the ABF lawn going straight to BAC 103, where the StartUP meetings took place… all the way to Skapto 1 Yard and then on the path to the second floor in main building where Radio AURA is, ending as always in Underground. Worst? My panic attacks before the oral exam in Strategic.
  • What were you before? What are you now?
I was naive, enthusiastic, impatient to see what’s ahead of me, happy, smiling, with the pink glasses on my head. Now? Naive, enthusiastic, impatient to see what’s ahead of me, smiling, with the pink glasses off, but still happy.
  • If you were 18 years old, what would you do?
I would write on the ceiling of my room “Travel as much as you can.”
  • What word defines you best?
Can I have two? Okay. Blonde smile.
  • What is the meaning of life?
Striving to be the better version of yourself and never settle down for less. That’s not too cheesy, right?
  • You are awesome because…
I have awesome friends and unstoppable energy.
  • How do you imagine life after AUBG?
I learned not to have any expectations and I am ready for anything. Whatever is there – bring it on!   This article was a joint effort of AUBG Daily’s Owls Katerina Avramova and Zhaklin Dib.
