Olympics 2012

The seventh annual AUBG Olympics was held yesterday at the Baseball field in Bachinovo Park. The event started at 10 a.m. and was attended by more than 350 people throughout the day. Among the crowd were many students, alumni, administration, residence hall staff and faculty members. Some of the medals even went to team faculty with Professor Mark Trocinski winning the gold in dodge ball and the silver in tug of war. Bulgarian volleyball player Lyubomir Ganev was the honorary guest of this year’s Olympics. He tried out playing some of the sports and gave the medals to the champions in the awards ceremony. The special surprise of the event was and iPhone, which was won in a lottery by Albina Mustafayeva, one of the participants. Every person, who competed in a sport, had the chance to win the lottery. Clifford Christians – Truth as Authentic Disclosure

University Professor and researcher Clifford Christians discussed ethics and truth in the age of global media last Wednesday, April 18, in the Auditorium of Balkanski Academic Center.
Christians talked about the crisis in the concept of globalization and how that affected media ethics and the portrayal of truth in media.
