Fallen Cupid Party!


A Fallen Cupid Party was organized by the AUBG Business Club and Women in Business Club on Thursday, February 23 at the new club Juliani.
Not many people showed up in the beginning, however, the number of people increased by 1p.m. AUBG dance crew performed three dances around 12:30. Although the party theme was connected to Valentine’s day, it got postponed because of some technicalities. The guest AUBGers could enjoy 50 % discount on alcoholic beverages. Continue reading…

AUBG Chess Club

AUBG Chess Club had its first introductory meeting on Friday, February 24 in Skaptopara 1 Multi Purpose Room.
Around 15 students showed up. Professional instructor, Georgi Angelov, played one game with each one of them and the president of the club, Irma Geldiashvili talked about the future plans of the club. “I love playing chess and I have been playing it since childhood. And I thought it would be great to have a Chess Club on campus,” said Geldiashvili. “It is a great opportunity for the students who enjoy playing chess.” Continue reading…

The Hackathon!

What happens when you put computer junkies and beer in the same room? The AUBG Hackathon – that’s what. Organized by the CSSU, this competition consisted of beer and four tasks, which the participants would call “simple”. All hackatoners had to drink four cups of beer before getting the first problem and try to solve it, then drink another cup before the organizers tell them if they solved it right. The correct answer leads them to the next question and more beer. Fortunately, everyone seemed to be handling the alcohol quite well. Continue reading…
